Big Shoulders Restoration

One file

Reconstruction after mitigation.

Mitigation without rebuild is half a job. We stay for scope, the claim, finishes, and construction so you are not reconstructing the story for a second contractor.

Why one shop

Handoffs are how files stall.

The usual split

Mitigation leaves. You find a contractor who never saw the water. Questions bounce. Schedules stack. The room sits.

  • A new vendor reconstructing the loss from photos
  • Multiple contacts, multiple calendars
  • Gaps between dry and demo

How we run it

The crew that mapped moisture writes the rebuild scope. One point of contact from the emergency call to the walkthrough.

  • We were there for the wet. We stay for the finish.
  • Same photos and readings in the rebuild file
  • Single accountability if something was missed

Scope

What we put back.

Walls and ceilings

Drywall, plaster repairs, paint, trim, and millwork to match the room — not a patch that advertises the loss.

Floors and wet rooms

Hardwood, tile, carpet, LVP. Baths and kitchens when the assembly came out with the water.

Coordination

Electrical and plumbing partners when the file needs them. You are not running three bids from a wet basement.

How it works

Dry, then a written rebuild.

01 · Mitigation completes

Verified dry or cleanup closed. Then we plan the put-back, not a week of voicemail.

02 · Scope

A written list of what comes back — materials, rooms, and what the claim already has photos for.

03 · Insurance

We talk to the adjuster with the same file. You still hear what is happening. Coverage stays the carrier’s call.

04 · Finishes

Flooring, paint, fixtures. Options that fit the budget instead of a surprise allowance.

05 · Construction

Licensed work, progress photos, one schedule.

06 · Walkthrough

We close the room with you. If it is not right, it is still our file.
